An African safari is a life-changing experience especially for a photographer. Being close to the animals and witnessing their behaviors in their natural environment is thrilling.
This sequence of photos shot in Botswana, some of which are graphic, was a scene we witnessed of a mother leopard and her cub feeding on an impala high up in a tree.
To see her drag the impala up the tree and hang it there was incredible. The leopards will feed on everything except the stomach because once that is broken,
the scent is released and their hiding place is no longer a secret.
Unforgettable moment for me! I hope these images give the moment justice.
